I'm always aware I'm about to see something cool and unique when I'm at Cleve's (my LCS for those of you not in the know) and he tells me he just got something in that he thinks I might find interesting. He's been right every time he says it. He was right again- this piece was absolutely interesting.
I've seen a lot of cool stuff in his store, but I think this might be the coolest, and it doesn't involve baseball cards:
It's a set of Presidential Cracker Jack pins, all PSA graded (there are two of these trays). I guess the years vary on the pins but I believe they are generally from the late 20's/ early 30's. I won't have any business bidding on them (already denied permission by the Lovely Wife anyway) but they are really, really neat. What's astounding is the immaculate shape the collection is in. Cleve let me take a few photos of some of the more noteworthy pins:
I wish the seller would break up the group and put the pins in the auctions individually, but they're being sold as a group. I'm not sure when Cleve will put these out for bidding, in fact he may hold on to them until the big Christmas auction this December. Whenever they are put up for sale, the final price should be interesting!

That's right up my alley. Of course, my wife has a road block on that alley.
Man, I would do for a Millard Fillmore Cracker Jack coin.
Wow, those are terrific. But probably a serious budget buster.
