Cleve’s Auction Night: Only One Win, But What a Cool Win

I put in about 5 or so write in bids for Cleve’s this week, and the one that I figured had the lowest chance of getting through to me, well, got through to me:

Much like the American Caramel card I won last week, this 1950 American Nut and Chocolate pennant is something I at least wanted one of for my collection.  To get it of Pee Wee Reese is that much more satisfying. This little beauty is about 4 inches long and has a felt feel to it, although I have no idea what the material is.  If you are interested in some other info on these gems, click here.

As a bonus, when I went in Saturday to pick the pennant up,  Cleve had just opened a box of Bowman Platinum and hooked me up with these at a great price:

I'm super excited about the Darvish die cut.  Bowman Platinum may be my favorite of the year, (unless I decide something else is my favorite) and this die cut stars insert set is really cool.
I also got this card of John Lamb, who is one the NW Arkansas Naturals that I follow.    I love the can of snuff protruding above his belt.

Grade:

American Nut Pee Wee Reese Pennant $20:  A+  A fantastic add to my collection, and I can check this set off my wish list.

Super cool pennant. How are you going to display it?
